Technical Forest Engineer by the University of Valladolid (2003). Master´s degree in Research in Agroforestry Development Engineering by the University of Valladolid. Master of Advanced Studies, Department of Economics, Sociology and Politics (2010), University of Valladolid. Research Stay in School of Environmental Sciences - University of Liverpool- The UK (2015). From June 2005 he is working in CARTIF Foundation. Currently, he is developing his work as Head of Natural Resources and Climate Area in the Agrifood and Natural Processes Division and specifically in the Nature Based solutions sector as Coordinator of URBAN GreenUP project (H2020-SCC02-URBAN GREEN-UP: New methodology to develop re-naturing Urban Plans by nature based solutions). He works as urban greening specialist to apply this expertise in the development of Nature Based Solutions in cities (green roofs, smarts soils, urban farms, green corridors, improvement of the landscape connectivity, actions against erosion and green well-being areas) and re-naturing urban plans.
