Margot Pinault is a policy officer at the European Commission's Directorate General for Energy, in the Energy Efficiency unit. In this role, she is responsible for planning, coordination and development of the current and future funding schemes for energy efficiency and clean energy transition, specifically under LIFE and Horizon Europe. She has now over 9 years’ experience at the European Commission. Her previous professional experience was in the private sector in France, where she worked for 7 years in the field of smart homes, home automation and buildings energy management systems. Margot has a Masters in Economics and a Masters in European and International Business Law.
