Claudio Rochas is the Chairman of the Board of Ekodoma Ltd., a Latvian consulting company in the field of energy eﬃciency and renewable energy sources and he is a co-founder of Funding for Future, a Dutch based Fund Management Company for which he worked as principal product development manager. In the last ten years Claudio has mainly focused on Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) for the renovation of multifamily and public buildings in Latvia. He contributed to the development of the Latvian Building Energy Efficiency Facility, financed by the EBRD, which forfaits EPC long term receivables. For RenEsco, a Latvian ESCO company, he placed the first private Financial Securitization Instrument using as asset the receivables from a pool of energy performance contracts. Always for Renesco, Claudio arranged the third-party financing for the deep renovation of a residential building in Riga, the first project fully developed following the guidelines of the Latvian Building Energy Efficiency Facility.
Claudio is also a lecturer at the Riga Technical University, he has a background of oil and gas engineering and a PhD. in energy eﬃciency and renewable energy sources. He speaks Italian, English, Latvian and some basic French.
